Following a successful International Sales career that spanned more than 16 years with local and international organisations including Atos, Siemens, Kindle Banking Systems (now Misys Group), DoubleClick (now part of Google) and Intuition, and based in offices in Dublin, London, Zurich and New York, Deirdre Foley founded her own company, StrategicFox in 2012. The company offers Executive Coaching, Team Coaching and Facilitation. Deirdre works with Business Leaders and Leadership teams in Ireland, UK and the USA.

While Sales Director for Siemens IT Solutions and Services, Deirdre’s interest in coaching moved from the management and motivation of teams as part of her sales career to the completion of a Masters in Business & Executive Coaching. Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin and holds postgraduate diplomas in both Business and Executive Coaching and Coaching Psychology with the UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School. In 2013, Deirdre completed a research based thesis to gain a MSc in Business and Executive Coaching from UCD. Her thesis is entitled ‘Raising Your Game: Exploring the potential translation of Sports Psychology tools and techniques to Executive Coaching’.

Committed to further education, Deirdre completed the Ashridge HULT University, Executive Education Programme in Team Coaching in January 2020. She holds the British Psychological Society (BPS) occupational test use certification in Ability and Personality Testing and is an accredited practitioner of Insights Discovery tools. Deirdre is also a certified Team Diagnostic Survey (6 Conditions) Level 2 Practitioner. She holds individual accreditation at Senior Practitioner Level with the European Mentoring and Coaching council (EMCC), and is also a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
